A former ballet dancer, Eva began her career as a child when she was chosen from the top 500 ballet students to be trained at the renowned Budapest ballet Opera House for the coveted "Prima Ballerina". During the Hungarian Revolution, she escaped with her family and immigrated to America.
She received a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Ballet, danced under the direction of the famous "JoAnna, "Alicia Markova and Maestro Karoly Zsedenyi in "Swan Lake, Coppelia", "Giselle" and "Les Sylphides" among others. She represented the state of Florida in more beauty contest than any other young lady in the history of the state. Her 'unique immortality of face and figure,' registered in the minds of millions when she was declared as the most beautiful women in the world.
Featured in 'Who's Who Famous American/Hungarians' World Press 1983, Eva's exceptional talent catapulted her into the Super Model circuit, jet setting to Rome as the renowned "Gucci Girl," did layouts for Chanel, Halston, Oscar de la Renta, Yves Saint Laurent. Up on her return, she was contracted in a Canadian movie for the lead in the CBC production, "The Other Side of Love," producer Leo Orenstein--co-stared with Ray Danton in Apache Blood and made key appearances on the "New Dick Van Dyke Show."
After years of working in the film and beauty industry, she developed a line of audio cassettes entitled "Celebrity Secrets on Health and Beauty," administered designs for the television series "Dynasty," became owner of Eva Kovacs Academies & Agencies in Naples, Clearwater, Indialantic and Vero Beach, Florida. Publisher of Emporium, the social/society Magazine, Eva co-wrote "Zizi" A Christmas Story with Louis Garfinkle, writer of THE DEER HUNTER, winner of five Oscars, including one for Best Picture of 1978. These roles continue to be remunerative for Eva to this very day into physical fitness and dance. Her life experiences and her unparallel youth and energy found a common pathology in the Pilates Fitness setting. As a Certified Classical Master Pilates Instructor—her DVD's are to be distributed throughout the world for Baby- Boomers including those in Assisted Living Facilities and Nursing Homes. As a boomer now her self, Eva's goal is no longer to be on the cover of Vogue and BAZAAR magazines, or to have the hottest body at the beach, which she still does.
